❓ FAQ
Q: Madrid or Barcelona for gay travel?
A: Both are excellent. Chueca (Madrid) offers the densest, most dedicated gay village experience in Spain. Barcelona's Eixample has more of a mixed vibe with a beach. For pure gay nightlife, Madrid wins.
Q: When is the best time to visit Chueca?
A: July for Pride (biggest event of the year). Chueca is lively year-round, but June–September is peak season. March's carnival period is a good off-peak alternative.
Q: What time should I go to clubs in Madrid?
A: Not before 02:00. Go to bars from 22:00–01:00, then move to clubs from 02:00. Arriving at a Madrid club at midnight means an empty room.
